ALTIUS Acquires Digital Bridge Communications, BridgeMAXX
Expansion, Technology Investments Continue
Phoenix, MD - October 12th, 2012 – ALTIUS Broadband, a premium national wireless broadband provider, whose technology supports higher usage demands, announced today its continued successful expansion with the acquisition of the Indiana markets of Digital Bridge Communications. ALTIUS also acquired the brand name BridgeMAXX to enable the further branding and expansion of their 4G broadband services.
Jim Connor, ALTIUS’ CEO said ALTIUS’ focus and expertise is on the uninterrupted streaming experience that customers are increasingly demanding. Connor said ALTIUS will be bringing some of the most advanced technology available to BridgeMAXX customers.
Connor said BridgeMAXX will continue to focuse on speed and maximizing bandwidth because, “the broadband connection has become the source of home entertainment. BridgeMAXX has further, ongoing plans to upgrade the networks by investing in backhaul technologies, adding wireless broadband sectors to cell towers, locating new cell towers to improve our broadband coverage, and adding additional capacity to wholesale Internet connections. Connor said he will be hiring and adding office space in the area: “We dedicated our business to exceeding broadband Internet expectations, and consistently investing in the network and in our technology. We’re looking to just as consistently add employees to stay ahead of the bandwidth demand.
