ALTIUS strengthens wireless business with acquisition of Indiana service provider

Hunt Valley, MD | - ALTIUS Communications, a leading provider of wireless technology solutions and services, today announced that it has acquired the wireless assets of internet service providers RTC Communications in Montgomery, Indiana. RTC's wireless assets will be merged into the ALTIUS Broadband brand and receive upgrades to back haul and last mile networks.
ALTIUS, a private company based in Hunt Valley, MD has grown organically and through acquisitions since 2005. These latest deal brings the number of acquisitions to four in the last 4 years. This new market includes all technology, customers and tower assets.
The acquisition reinforces ALTIUS's commitment to invest in rural markets to provide high-speed internet access. The ALTIUS management team is committed to bringing broadband access to all parts of rural America and to continue to "bridge the digital divide."
