ALTIUS Communications Sponsors Shootout for Soldiers 24 Hour Lacrosse Game to Benefit Wounded Warrior Project
Phoenix, MD - May 3, 2012 - ALTIUS Communications is pleased to announce that it will be a Premier Sponsor of the Shootout for Soldiers charity event to be held at Boys Latin School on June 14-15th. This effort was organized by a group of local high school students and will be a Guinness World Record breaking event.
The Shootout will seek to use the platform of lacrosse to unite area lacrosse players ages 10+ in a 24 hour lacrosse game for the common benefit of the Wounded Warrior Project. All proceeds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project to support its effort to aid wounded US soldiers.
Players and donations for the game are being accepted at the Shootout website: http://shootoutforsoldiers.com.
"We are excited for the opportunity to support this great event and the soldiers who defend our country everyday," said Jim Connor, CEO of ALTIUS. "Using this unique platform of a continuous 24 hour lacrosse game in order to raise money for our wounded veterans is an excellent way to create awareness for this worthy cause."
